Thomson Jazz Club members come from all walks of life. We have professionals, young adults, students, full-time musicians, businessmen, retirees and expatriates amongst members.

Most are Singaporeans but a significant number come from other countries. There are Americans, British, Japanese, Australians, Canadians, Germans, French, Austrian plus a Russian - truly a mini United Nations sharing a common love of music.

Some are well-known in the local jazz scene... Rick Smith, Victor Gaskin, Stephen Rufus, Louis Soliano and Clinton Carnegie. We have also worked very closely with personalities such as our Honourary Member Jeremy Monteiro, plus Iskandar Ismail and Brian Benson.

About half of our members are active musicians who play music regularly at Club activities. Some are avid supporters of the jazz scene while others want to learn more about jazz.

The Club affairs are run by a Committee elected from its members, all of whom contribute their time and effort voluntarily. They are:
